On Tuesday a volleyball banquet was held to end the season and say goodbye to the graduating seniors Kate Kerns, Calista Shannon, and Katie Hayner who were asked to give a speech regarding their time as a Pinckney volleyball team member. The speeches started off thanking others but soon took a turn. Shannon continued her speech by saying that people had left the program for many reasons “including favoritism from coaches, coaches wearing down players emotionally, the negative environment, and the loss of love for the sport.” This shocked many, but overall the banquet was positive.
